Final Fantasy FXIV A Realm Reborn: Job Actions

FFXIV ARR official blog just posted a new video of job actions for each class. They sure do look pretty :). One of the Dragoon’s Job Action (JA) reminds of Samurai’s Tachi: Kasha in FFXI with all those sakura petals.

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn – Release Date, Preorder and a New Tour Video

Square-Enix just released a new video of Eorzea this past week along with announcement of official world wide released date which will happen on August 27th, 2013 for both PS3 and PC version. Official site has more information on how it works if you have FFXIV v1.0.

If you miss part 1 of the video, you can check it below.

If you are interested in pre-ordering, you can preorder it on http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/product/index.html.

Are you guys excited about this upcoming release of a remake of FFXIV ? I know the original release was a huge flop since I played for a bit but I have been playing FFXIV: ARR since Alpha and it looks release promising. It definitely aims to much broader audience and some says it’s similar to WoW.

The Survivors

Yahari Ore No Seishun Love Come Wa Machigatteiru
# of episodes watched: 7
Rating: 7/10
Comment: I love the main protagonist, Hachiman Hikigaya, who has a really bad personality and just seems to have the world. I am surprised that I still follow this series since I thought I was going to drop it on episode two or three.

Photo Kano
# of episodes watched: 7
Rating: 8/10
Comment: Photo Kano starts slow then it picks up the pace on episode 3/4 where it actually goes in the main storyline with Niimi. I knew I am going to love the series is the same creator as Amagami and Kimi Kiss.

Ginga Kikoutai Majestic Prince
# of episodes watched: 7
Rating: 7/10
Comment: The five main protagonist has another nickname and they are called the loser five. As their nickname tells, noone expects anything from them but they are able to turn things around. Gotta love the stories with underdog theme and mechas.

Shingeki No Kyojin
# of episodes watched: 7
Rating: 9/10
Comment: This show is just friggin awesome and kicks butts. I highly recommend to watch Shingeki no Kyojin ie. Attack on Titan. It’s about human look-alike monster who preys on only humans and whole theme of series is about survival. Note that it has a dark theme and few first episodes are pretty gloomy/depressing.

Hataraku Maou-Sama
# of episodes watched: 6
Rating: 8/10
Comment: my wife and I love Hataraku Maou-Sama. We both find this series is very hilarious and entertaining. A demon called Satan ie. Maou got stucked in Japan and he works for RcDonald. It’s too funny watching him and his servant Ashiya adjusting to life in Japan. I highly recommend this one.

Kakumeiki Valvrave
# of episodes watched: 7
Rating: 8/10
Comment: I originally didn’t expect much from this anime but after few episodes of mecha fighting episodes, it actually has a decent story line. However, story plot is very similar to Gundam Seed since it has two super power nations Dorssia and Arus with JIOR as a neutral nation. They pretty much represent PLANT(ZAFT) and Earth Federation with Orb as a neutral nation in Gundam Seed.

Suisei no Gargantia
# of episodes watched: 7
Rating: 7/10
Comment: Suisei no Gargantia has a great animation and background settings. It’s really eye-pleasing and beatifully done. Production I.G did very well on this one. Story wise, I found that I always look forward to next week episode. It started with how Ledo was thrown off into a black hole and arrived at a planet called Earth which’s not supposed to exist anymore. Each episode tells how Ledo is getting adjusted to live in earth civilization. While it may sound really boring, it picks up its pace as story’s progressing.

Hentai Ouji To Warawanai Neko
# of episodes watched: 7
Rating: 8/10
Comment: I laugh my a$$ off on every episode and it’s really enjoyable to watch. I highly recommend to everyone who’s looking for a ‘light’ anime to watch and Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi, one of heroines, is just too adorable.

To Aru Kagaku No Railgun S
# of episodes watched: 7
Rating: 8/10
Comment: One of those anime series where my wife and I can enjoy it together. I managed to get my wife into To Aru Kagaku No Railgun 1st season and she finished the whole first season in one week. It has great first 3-4 episodes to start then it’s getting into ‘serious’ stuff on episode 5++. For any biri-biri fans out there, it’s highly recommend. Note that you don’t have to watch first season first to watch second season since there are not that many references to first season. I still recommend to get caught up with first season first or even re-watch since it will be worthwhile ^^.

What’s still in everyone’s watch list ?
