Chaos;Head is an anime adaptation from a visual novel with the same title which was released back on March this year. Chaos;Head is originally created by Nitro+ and 5pb. As you may already know that Nitro+ is also the creator of Blassreiter, a current ongoing anime series which started in Spring 2008 and Demonbane (Hint: Al Azif ^^). On the other hand, for 5pb, this would be their first creation since it was founded back in 2005. Despite of being a newcomer in anime industry, they proved themselves in their work in Ayakashi, Myself Yourself and Kanokon. Between those three, I like Myself Yourself the best in term of story line. Kanokon has too much fan service and I haven’t watched Ayakashi so not sure what it is about.
My 2nd Caren Hortensia figure which I bought from Anime North 2008 back in May. The first one is made by Griffon Enterprise (check my entry for the other Caren Hortensia figure) while this one is made by Kotobukiya. It’s an old figure and originally released in September 2006. Hobby Link Japan has this figure in stock in case anyone is interested ^^.
My Akatsuki Mishiro figure from Shuraki Trinity just arrived today. It costed me arms and legs since it’s impossible to get her figure from anywhere due to out of stock nowadays. It was $60 including shipping. I had to resort getting her from ebay and I know it’s kinda risky but I managed to get one ^^.
Hopefully I can do photoshoot of her soon 🙂

A couple friends of mine organized a gaming party last night, although, it’s more like just people gathering together and have fun ^^. The theme for this gaming party is N00b Party and if you don’t know what noob is, Google is your friend ^^. In addition to gaming, there are also food and drinks available for us to buy and the best thing is that all the food is Indonesian food and $1 Starbucks coffee ^^ (Best pricing ever for a Starbucks coffee).

I preordered more figure which will be coming on December 2008 and at this rate I may have to live under a bridge >.>, although, I consider those figures as Christmas gift for myself and I am really good at spoiling myself ;p. Depending on my budget so I’ll see ^^;;, I may have to cancel some of them or add more lol.

Just a short post tonight as I am tired from work. First day at a new job is always rough but I was having a blast ^^.
It sucks that I have to wait for a month waiting for a new chapter of Claymore but not much I can do about it and it makes every chapter totally worth the wait ^^. Chapter 83 was released yesterday and it’s available at onemanga.com so if you have not read it, please do so for Clair’s sake XD.
Interestingly, Cynthia is faster than Claire. That’s like a brand new information since I always thought that Myria and Claire are the strongest among the 7.
For many figure collecteors in general out there, being able to access English version of a japanese website gives us a lot information about the latest releases in the world of figurines without using an online translator which most of the time is not dependable.
Fellow comrade known as Danny Choo has just released an English version of Good Smile Company website using a latest version of Mirai Gaia platform. The same platform that he uses on his website www.dannychoo.com. Danny has been working with Good Smile Company for quite a while as you can see from his frequent visits at GSC office and a recent article at GSC office.
Danny is also a part of GSC’s International Strategy Team with a mission to make more figures available internationally so for most of us, figure collectors outside Japan, we can expect to being to able to buy figures easily with less shipping cost hopefully ^^. Honestly, I am really excited on what Danny and GSC can do for us in overseas because most of the time, we got screwed in the shipping cost of figures and not to mention border fees ^^;;.
The website is currently on beta stage so bugs and errors can be expected , however, I personally like the overal look of the website and the color scheme that it uses. It runs smoothly. Despite of being similar to dannychoo.com in term of colour, the colour scheme of the new GSC english website fits its logo colour which I don’t mind ^^. A lot of features and additional User Interface will be added in the future. I guess for us figure collectors, we couldn’t wait to see a shopping cart and its online ordering section. In addition, Danny is planning to introduce an affiliate scheme in the future for website owners and bloggers. I honestly couldn’t wait to see the growth of the new GSC english website and future additions.
Lastly, I would like congratulate Danny with the launch of the new GSC website using Mirai Gaia and glad to see that his business is growing. Looking forwards for more things from him in the future ^^.

A new browser just established itself yesterday and joined the Browser war against other well known browser such as Firefox, Mozilla, Netscape, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera and other browsers. Apparently Google has a lot of confindence in them and launched their own browser called Google Chrome on September 2nd, 2008. It’s still currently in Beta stage so a lot of bugs are to be expected, however, the future looks promising from user feedbacks that I read on various forums.
