Woooot my new figures have arrived safely. More figures from Fate series and 夜明け前より瑠璃色な (Yoake Mae yori Ruri Iro na). I couldn’t resist Feena Swimsuit figure by Max Factory after I saw it at dannychoo.com . The other 2 figures are Saber Holiday Ver. 1/6 scale by Good Smile Company and Sakura Matou Swimsuit by Griffon. Now I just need to find time to do photo shoots for all of those ^___^

I had a blast today at Toronto FC vs Kansas City game at BMO field. That was my first ever coming to a live soccer match ^__^. My buddy (a Life size Sports Dictionary 🙂 ) from work got me a ticket at the Northend Elite supporter group section so props to him for getting me the ticket.
You know watching a game on tv and live are totally different thing. It’s brand new experience and not to mention I was at the support section. Those guys were really loud ^__^ and got me into the mood. Without realizing it, I started trying to sing a long with their chants. Watching Toronto Raptors at ACC is nothing compares to watching Toronto FC playing. Toronto FC > Toronto Raptors nuff said.

Looks like I am getting closer to my goal: acquire every Saber PVC figures out there ^____^. I got this Saber White Swimsuit version 1/6 scale by Clayz back in December. I asked my parents to grab me some figures when they went to Japan and I was surprised that they managed to get me 4 figures in total ^__^.
I spent some time with this figure trying to get the best quality results. I took more than 200 shots for this figure alone with my Nikon D40 in order to get the image quality that I am satisfied with. I played around with a lot of settings my Nikon D40 and can’t seem to get the right one. Oh well….. I am a newbie photographer >.>
I took couple pics right by my window for more light and better results.

Approximately 2 weeks have passed from the start of spring anime seasons. A bunch of anime are being released in the beginning of the month and I have been busy downloading and watching them left and right; trying to get couple anime that I am planning to keep watching so I pretty much spent my last 2 weeks watching anime after I got home from work.
The way I rate the anime is solely based on story alone so most fan service anime will receive low rating but does not mean I don’t enjoy them. I mean …. come on…. who would not want Nose bleed experience.
Anime North will have a Japanese Guest of Honour for this year convention. Haruko Momoi will be attending Anime North 2008 next month ^___^. For those who are not familiar with her, she is a singer and a seiyuu for quite well-known anime.
As a singer, she was part of a band duo called Under 17 with Masaya Koike. You all probably heard about Under 17 before. Unfortunately, the band broke up in September 2004 which came as a shock to many of their fans. I remember listening to some of their songs in some of anime that I watched back in the day. The most famous one is probably DearS ( Love Slave ), Popotan ( Popotan hatake de tsukamaete ) and Genshiken ( Kujibiki Unbalance ). The unique or selling feature about this group( or Haruko Momoi herself) is their cute voice and you can see that from type of anime that this group was singing for ^__^.

You can even donate to crunchyroll and download the episodes. This is crazy.

This is a great news for people who watch fansubs like me and the death of anime DVDs in USA lol.
Well today is such a great day for me ^_________^. Well the reason that I am really happy today is because I finally finished a huge project given by my client of mine. He wanted to create a full website about him and his music ( He is a musician).
I just recently started taking some freelance projects and this one is the first big project that I have ever so I cannot be more happy that I finally finished it. In addition to finishing this project, I learned some valuable lessons in term of coding and project management so can’t be more happier with the experience that I gained from this project alone.
This website is the first time I use CSS to arrange all content and minimize the use of table so it’s pretty challenging for me overall. In addition , I also had to integrate wordpress and phplist to his website and use the same design; just in case someone is wondering, phplist is an open source newsletter management software.
I believe there are a lot improvements can be on in term of css but for my first css project, I would say I am pretty satisfied with the result and as I use more css in web development, I will learn more and utilize more of css power ^________^
It’s been a while since I did figure photo shoot so ………….. it is the time ^_^. I got this figure from http://www.hlj.com back in February ^__^.
My photo-taking skill is not up to par >.> and lighting is always one of the problem for me and not to mention my shaky hands lol. This is the first figure that I took with my Nikon D40 (go go tax refund ;p). I still might need a macro lens for better close images. Meh, I want so many things >.> …… figures…….. computer stuff…….. now macro lens……. oh dear……. please save me from spending my money too much lol.
Just a little warning for those who use rogers and like to download a lot with torrents or other p2p, you probably got a letter saying about the new bandwidth overage charge. It says on the letter, $25 is the maximum charge however, I stumbled upon a post in NCIX forum where one of the forumer shows his Rogers bill. Rogers charged $616.50 for over usage >.>. I know in the letter says that $25 is the hard capped and can’t go more so make sure you check your bill right away after you got it so you gets charged more than $25, call them right away and bitch at them >.>
